MODE OF ACTION
OsteoScript contains both Calcium Bisglycinate and Ca-AEP (Calcium-2-Aminoethanolphosphate).

Calcium Bisglycinate is regarded as the most bio-available and soluble form of calcium due to it being bound to the amino acid glycine, to facilitate transport in the digestive tract. The glycinate form of calcium is what is found naturally in the diet and will not cause constipation.

Ca-AEP improves the condenser function of the cell membranes of bone tissues.

Magnesium Aspartate in OsteoScript is a very bio-available form of magnesium.

64% of the body’s magnesium is concentrated in the bones. Magnesium helps to decrease osteoclast activity and thereby helps prevent fractures and osteoporosis.

Boron is included since it is a major component in the bones, assisting in the prevention of osteoporosis by enhancing calcium absorption.

Silica is a component in bones and helps to enhance the health and growth of bones by facilitating the incorporation of calcium into bones. Silica is an essential component of osteoblasts and may reduce the number of osteoclasts, thereby preventing and alleviating osteoporosis.

Vitamin D3 helps to prevent osteoporosis by promoting absorption of calcium and phosphorus from food in the intestines and re-absorption of calcium in the kidneys, enabling normal mineralisation of bones, and allowing for bone growth and bone remodeling by osteoblasts and osteoclasts.

Ipriflavone inhibits bone resorption and stimulates osteoblasts to produce new bone, thereby alleviating and preventing both osteoporosis as well as fractures.

Research has shown that supplemental Ipriflavone can increase bone mineral density by 3% to 9% within three to nine months of its initial daily use.
